Fundraising

The Trilogy research requires an amount of funding (see end of previous post for detailed budget...) that, if done well, will take more financial resources than I have available to me at the moment.

And, so, I have applied for 2 art-literature grants (thus far) and ran a Kickstarter campaign.  The Kickstarter was quite a journey and adventure in reaching out ~ beyond my comfort zones!  It also stretched my capacity to receive...  Donations from a wide array of friends, students, and caring people filled the goal and beyond, calling me deeper into the project.  It's an interesting feeling, to know that I hold myself fully accountable, and yet I now feel a more substantial duty to deliver the project with utmost integrity.  I am awed by the support given and the growth that has come with them.

I will update with the answers from the granting foundations when I hear from them ~ hopefully soon!  In the meantime, the Kickstarter funds will support initial research efforts.
